CIRCUIT DESIGNS PCB DESIGN SERVICE.
At Circuit Designs pride ourselves on good quality PCB Design. All PCBs are designed to comply with CE safety standards, and with IPC-D-275 PCB Design Standards. PCBs are designed to minimise EMC radiation and susceptibility, using industry accepted design methodologies.
We have been closely involved with attaining ISO9001 accreditation for several companies, and have done a lot of research into the European CE Directives and the Aus/NZ C-tick.
All designs, even the most simplest, start with Sch capture. As discussed on the 'Sch Capture' page, by ensuring the Schs are accurate, we can have a high level of confidence in the PCB produced. PCBs are all designed from netlists, generated from these Schs, and use comprehensive on line design rule checks to maintain a high quality layout. This is the only way to ensure the highest level of confidence in the final design.
Having identified critical design areas and all associated components (eg from the Schs) appropriate design considerations can be made.
At Circuit Designs we come from an Engineering background, so we make an effort to actually understand designs. This enables us to offer another, outside, verification of the circuitry. Often we will find small omissions or inconsistencies. We may be able to suggest alternative components, or help in some other way.
Security of designs is always a concern in the electronics field. To this end we prefer not to become involved in actual hardware design, as this could constitute a conflict of interest. We will not discuss any other customer's work, or release ANY documentation, without first getting consent from our customer.
